Oriana Solutions grew out of an entrepreneurship competition won while still in school. Less than a year later, we were delivering projects for a regional airline and a three-location restaurant group. Here's how we got there.

In 2025, our team won first place nationally at Défi OSEntreprendre, Quebec's largest entrepreneurship competition. The winning project was Quietnest, a mobile app designed and built from scratch.
Samuel Bergeron-Lagacé, now an Oriana co-founder, led that project while still a Computer Science Technology student at Cégep du Vieux Montréal. He received a $5,000 bursary at the 27th Grands Prix Desjardins gala, in the school stream, college category, along with a prize from the Fédération des cégeps.
It wasn't a school exercise. The app brought in more than 60 testers before launch. That's when we realized we liked building real products, and Oriana Solutions was born.
See the Quietnest case studyWe could have spent our first two years on five-page websites. That's not what happened.
A regional airline serving Quebec and Atlantic Canada. An industry where close enough doesn't exist.
A three-location restaurant group, with menus, events and an identity to carry across the whole network.
Proof that what we build doesn't stop at the province's borders.
When AI engines started answering in Google's place, most agencies kept selling classic search optimization.
We built an offering for it: making sure a business is understood, cited and recommended by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot and Gemini. Then, when OpenAI opened advertising inside ChatGPT in February 2026, we were among the first Quebec agencies to prepare and run those campaigns.
We don't claim to have figured out a field that's two years old. We claim to have taken it seriously before the others did.
Our GEO optimization offeringWe come from a student entrepreneurship club. That's where we tested our first ideas, in front of people who owed us nothing.
So we sponsor REEL, one of Quebec's most active student entrepreneurship clubs and a member of ACEE. We also sponsor local events, such as the 10-year class reunion at Collège Letendre, where our co-founder Mathieu Morin-Lamy graduated a decade earlier.
This isn't bought visibility. It's what we would have wanted to see back when it was us, in the room, with an idea and no budget.
Our cultureThe Quietnest project, built by Oriana and led by Samuel Bergeron-Lagacé while he was still studying, was covered by several education and entrepreneurship organizations.
