For founders

Your technical partner. From idea to a product that sells.

Fast MVP, scalable SaaS, code 100% yours. For founders who want to validate fast without burning their runway.

What we do during the MVP phase

We build what validates, not what impresses.

Too many startups spend 6 months and $80,000 building a product no one uses. We do the opposite. We identify the 3 features that test your hypothesis, deliver them quickly, and adjust based on real feedback.

AI cuts our development costs by 60 to 70%. We pass those savings directly to you. An MVP that would have cost $50,000 two years ago costs $15,000 to $25,000 today.

Analysis and prioritization

We identify the 3 features that validate your hypothesis. Everything else waits for phase 2.

Architecture and tech stack

We choose technologies based on your roadmap, not our preferences. Scalability from the start.

Iterative development

Working deliverables every two weeks. You watch the product get built in real time.

User testing and adjustments

We integrate feedback from your first users directly into the development cycle.

What we build

Five kinds of products, one shared starting point: validation.

We don't build startup websites, we build products that need to find their market. Here are the five shapes that takes most often with our Quebec clients.

1

B2B subscription SaaS

The classic: a tool your customers pay for every month. Accounts, roles, recurring billing, dashboard. It's the product we ship most often, and the one whose architecture has to be right from day one.

2

Two-sided platform

A marketplace connecting supply and demand. The real challenge isn't technical, it's solving the chicken-and-egg problem. We build the harder side to populate first.

3

Mobile application

When usage is mobile-first or location-based. We build in React Native to ship iOS and Android from a single codebase, which cuts the bill in half compared to two native apps.

4

Internal tool turned product

You hacked together a tool for your own company, it works, and other people want to use it. We get it out of your Google Sheets and turn it into a real sellable product, without losing the domain logic that makes it good.

5

AI-powered product

An agent, an assistant, an automated analysis layer. We integrate existing models rather than training one: it's faster, cheaper, and it leaves you free to switch providers as the market moves.

From validation to a SaaS that scales.

An MVP is a starting point. The real question is: can your architecture support 10,000 users if it takes off? We design your product to be solid from the start without over-building. When your metrics prove traction, we're already ready for the next phase. No need to rewrite everything.

Scoping is mostly deciding what you won't build.

Every founder arrives with about thirty features in mind. We keep four: the ones that test the hypothesis. The rest isn't dropped, it's dated. That's the difference between shipping in ten weeks and shipping in ten months.

The 10 weeks

What an MVP looks like, week by week.

Week 1

Scoping

We cut. Your list of 30 features becomes a list of 4. We document the hypothesis the MVP has to validate and the metric that will say whether it worked.

Weeks 2 – 3

Design and architecture

Mockups of the main screens, database schema, stack decisions. You approve before a single line of code is written.

Weeks 4 – 8

Development in sprints

A demo environment available at all times, updated every two weeks. You test the product while we build it, not after.

Weeks 9 – 10

Launch and measurement

Testing, go-live, analytics wired in. We hand you the keys to the repository, the servers and the third-party accounts.

MVP or full product

The difference between launching in ten weeks and launching in ten months.

Both approaches produce working software. Only one leaves you enough runway to correct course.

Our approach

Targeted MVP

  • 3 to 5 features, chosen to test one specific hypothesis
  • Real users after 10 weeks
  • $15,000 to $25,000 committed before the market answers
  • A pivot costs a few weeks
  • Architecture supports growth without being over-built
What we see far too often

Full product before validation

  • 20 to 30 features, chosen in an internal meeting
  • Real users after 8 to 12 months
  • $80,000 and up committed before the market answers
  • A pivot costs half the budget
  • Architecture designed for a million users who may never show up

Our commitment to founders

Total transparency

You have access to the code, project management tools, and technical decisions at all times. No black box. If something takes longer than expected, you know before we do.

Predictable costs

We work with fixed budgets per phase, not hourly invoices. You know exactly what each step costs before we start.

Full ownership

Code, data, domains, and cloud accounts are in your name from day one. You're never held hostage by our relationship.

Let's be honest

We're not the right partner for every startup.

We're an excellent fit if

  • You have no CTO and want someone who owns the technical decisions entirely
  • You want to validate a market hypothesis before investing heavily
  • You'd rather have a fixed budget per phase than an hourly invoice that keeps growing
  • You're willing to cut features to ship faster
  • You want to own your code and be able to walk away whenever you like

We're probably not the right fit if

  • You're looking for a technical partner who works for equity rather than money
  • You already have an in-house dev team and want hourly contracting
  • Your product depends on fundamental AI research or physical hardware
  • The spec is frozen and non-negotiable before the first meeting even happens

Technologies

Proven technologies, so your next developer already knows them.

We use mature, widely adopted technologies. The day you hire your first in-house developer, they already know everything in your product.

Founder questions

We take on the full technical partner role. We make the architecture decisions, manage development, and explain every decision in plain terms. You don't need to understand the code to make good decisions about your product.

You own the code 100%. From day one, we work in your repository. When the project ends, you have access to everything: source code, documentation, configurations. No dependency on us if you decide to switch partners.

For a focused MVP with 3 to 5 key features, we typically deliver in 6 to 10 weeks. AI lets us move much faster than traditional agencies. We prioritize what validates your market hypothesis, not what's technically impressive.

That's the nature of a startup. We work in short 2-week sprints so priority changes have minimal impact. If you pivot, we adapt. We also avoid over-building early on so changes stay inexpensive.

At Oriana, a first working version starts at $5,000 and a full MVP runs between $15,000 and $25,000, delivered in 6 to 10 weeks. Traditional agencies typically charge $60,000 to $120,000 for an equivalent mandate. The gap comes from AI-assisted development, which cuts our costs by 60 to 70%, and from the fact that we refuse to build features the market hasn't asked for yet.

Yes, and that's the majority of our startup clients. Our packages are designed to be affordable for a founder investing their own savings or using a grant. Many start with the $1,500 launch site or the $5,000 first version, validate interest, then fund the next phase with early revenue or a seed round.

No. We work strictly for payment, in fixed fees per phase. That's a deliberate choice: a technical partner paid in equity benefits from the project dragging on, while a partner paid a fixed fee benefits from shipping fast and well. It keeps our incentives aligned with yours and leaves your cap table intact for your investors.

Three scenarios. The product finds its market and we continue in development phases based on your priorities. The product needs a pivot and we restart from scoping with what you've learned. Or you hire an in-house team and we hand everything over: documentation, handover sessions, access to everything. None of the three depends on our goodwill, because you already own everything from day one.

Yes. We'll sign a non-disclosure agreement before any detailed discussion if you'd like, and the service agreement includes a confidentiality clause by default. The code, the data and the intellectual property belong entirely to you. We never reuse work done for one client with another, and we don't build products that compete with our clients'.

A prototype exists to show an idea: it's usually a clickable mockup, with no real database, that actual customers can't use. An MVP is a working product in production, with user accounts, real data and often payments. We can deliver a prototype if your need is to convince an investor, but in most cases a $5,000 MVP will teach you more about your market than a prototype of the same value.
