How do you turn a communications advisor's reputation into a professional online presence, up against bigger competitors? That is the challenge we took on with Lajoie Conseil, Guillaume Lajoie's firm, which supports entrepreneurs with their communications strategy and positioning.

The mandate: deliver the web development and search engine optimization (SEO) of a custom website that presents his services clearly, builds trust and makes it easy to get in touch.

Quick answer

Oriana Solutions delivered the web development and SEO of the Lajoie Conseil website, a communications strategy consultancy. Guillaume Lajoie was very well known in person but had no website to build his brand against big competitors. The site is live: lajoieconseil.com.

The case study in 30 seconds

  • ✓The client: Lajoie Conseil, a communications strategy consultancy in Montreal and Laval, founded in 2025.
  • ✓The challenge: very well known in person, with plenty of content (Mon Café du Vendredi) and appearances in Les Affaires, but no website to build his brand against big competitors.
  • ✓Our work: the web development and SEO of the site.
  • ✓The approach: clarify the message first, then structure the site around three services and three audiences.
  • ✓See it live: lajoieconseil.com.

The client: a firm that helps entrepreneurs tell their story better

Guillaume Lajoie is an accredited public relations professional (PRP), holds an MBA and is a registered lobbyist. He has more than ten years of experience as a publicist working with entrepreneurs. His firm offers three services: public relations, government relations and strategic positioning, for innovative SMEs, entrepreneurial support organizations and business buyers in transition.

Among the organizations that trust him: HEC Montréal (Familles en affaires), Desjardins Entreprises, Garage&co, ADIQ, Axeo, Paralog, Ahoy and 80PAQ. His tagline sums up the offer: “Mieux se raconter pour mieux rayonner” (tell your story better to shine brighter).

The challenge: well known in person, with no website

Guillaume is well known in person. He publishes a lot of content, notably with his Mon Café du Vendredi series, and he appears in the newspaper Les Affaires. Yet his firm had no website: nowhere for an entrepreneur, a journalist or a partner to check who he is, what he offers and how to reach him.

He also had to build his brand against big competitors, established agencies with far larger teams and budgets. For a firm founded in 2025, credibility comes from a site that is clear, confident and easy to find.

The starting message is direct: young Quebec companies don't lack ideas, they lack a partner who speaks their language.

The goals of the mandate

  • ✓Explain the offer in one sentence, right on arrival
  • ✓Let each of the three audiences recognize themselves
  • ✓Build trust against established competitors
  • ✓Be found on Google by people searching for Guillaume or his services
  • ✓Offer a pleasant mobile experience, where much of the traffic arrives

Our approach: clarify the message before designing the site

Before development, three questions had to be answered.

1. What should a visitor understand on arrival? The site had to explain within seconds the role of Lajoie Conseil, the services and Guillaume's added value. That is why the home page relies on a headline and one sentence rather than a long presentation.

2. How do you present several services without blurring the message? Each of the three services has its own block, with bullet points naming the concrete deliverables, so visitors understand what they get.

3. How do you show the credibility of a young firm? Through proof: Guillaume's background, the organizations that trust him and his published content. That is the principle guiding the page: credibility before visibility.

What we built: the web development

We built a custom, fast, mobile-first website: a structured home page and a few focused pages (Startups, About, Lajoie de la Semaine, Blog and Contact).

Three services, one at a time. Public relations, government relations and strategic positioning each get their own block.

Three audiences, three entry points. Rather than a single path for everyone, three cards: innovative SMEs, support organizations and business buyers. Each visitor immediately sees the card that describes them.

A consistent visual identity. The geometric shapes of the logo return in the backgrounds, buttons and sections, for a restrained, warm and recognizable site.

The three entry points in detail: each card speaks directly to one type of visitor.

The founder and the content at the center of the site

Lajoie Conseil is first and foremost Guillaume. The site gives him a real place: a photo from a conference, the “10+ years working with entrepreneurs” marker and a text explaining why he presents himself as an advisor who documents the ecosystem rather than one more agency.

His three regular touchpoints are highlighted: the Lajoie de la Semaine newsletter, Mon Café du Vendredi on LinkedIn and the Bâtir des ponts column in Les Affaires. They give a reason to come back and build the firm's credibility.

SEO: being found by those searching for Guillaume

Without a website, a firm doesn't exist on Google. Our SEO work aimed to make sure entrepreneurs, journalists and partners searching for Guillaume or his services find his site.

To do so, the site is structured with a clear home page, focused pages, careful technical markup, fast loading and flawless mobile display, the foundations of good local SEO and of being well understood by search engines and AI.

A site that reads just as well on mobile

Many visitors to a communications advisor arrive from LinkedIn, so from a phone. The site was designed mobile-first: the headline, the offer and the buttons stay readable on the first screen.

The result: a structured digital presence

The Lajoie Conseil website is live. It brings together in one place the services, Guillaume's background, the audiences he supports and his content. The project put in place:

  • ✓A structured offer: three areas of expertise presented distinctly.
  • ✓A tailored journey: three entry points depending on the visitor's profile.
  • ✓A professional showcase: the founder's background and the firm's references on display.
  • ✓An SEO foundation: a fast, structured site readable by search engines.
  • ✓A central point of contact: one place to discover the firm and reach out.

What's next?

  1. 1The site is recent. The next step is to track its performance (visits, Google rankings, contact requests) and measure its contribution to visibility and new client acquisition.
