We built our own AI sales software

SalesPitch is an AI sales copilot we designed, built, and launched in-house. Not to prove we could. Because we had a real problem to solve.

Mathieu Morin-Lamy

Co-founder, Oriana Solutions Inc.

We've been helping clients with their digital projects since day one. Web apps, custom software, AI integrations. We've delivered dozens of projects for others.

But a year ago, we asked ourselves an honest question: can we build our own product, from scratch, with no client holding our hand and no extendable deadline?

The answer is SalesPitch.

The problem we wanted to solve

Sales reps lose deals not because they lack motivation, but because they lack the right tools at the right time. A good pitch is structured. It addresses the right objections. It adapts to the client's profile.

Most reps still work with notes in Google Docs, Word scripts, and copy-pasted follow-up emails. No structure, no consistency from one meeting to the next.

We built SalesPitch to fill exactly that gap.

What we shipped in 1 month

We gave ourselves a clear constraint: launch something functional, used by real sales reps, in under 30 days. Not a prototype. A real product.

Here's what we shipped:

  • A pitch builder structured by client profile, with intro, talking points, objections, and close
  • A library of email and text templates for every follow-up step
  • A dashboard with AI analysis to identify what works for each rep
  • A Company tab to centralize competitor battlecards and key information
  • Management of multiple simultaneous pitches to cover different sectors or client types

The numbers after our first users

We didn't want to invent metrics. We measured what we could measure, and here's what we observed with the teams that adopted SalesPitch.

MetricObserved result
Average conversion rate+27%
Additional revenue per month+$1,400 per rep
Time saved per week5 hours per rep

Results observed with early adopters in the insurance and real estate sectors.

What we learned from launching it

Building for yourself is different from building for a client. When you're the client, there's no one left to validate your decisions. Every design choice, every feature, every technical trade-off, you own it entirely.

It made us better at supporting our own clients. We now understand even better what it means to make real product decisions under time and resource constraints.

What we realized

The biggest lesson: a good product is validated with real users, not in a spec doc. We iterated faster than expected because we had concrete feedback from week one.

What's next for SalesPitch

SalesPitch is available today at usesalespitch.com. We keep actively developing it. New AI features are coming, including real-time pitch suggestions based on the team's conversion data.

If you have a sales team and you recognize the problem we described, go take a look.
